Loved loved coming here! It was my birthday lunch and I wanted something different that had amazing flavor and a nice atmosphere. This place did not disappoint! I had the messy bottom, so flavourful, you could taste all the great ingredients inside. Don't be over whelmed with the menu because anything you get well be delicious. My son's grand mother came with me because she's amazing. She had the sliced steak sandwich with fries, oh so good, fries were cooked so perfectly and flavor was awesome. The MUSIC in the restaurant was awesome, so soothing and we started to sing some of the songs because it brought back memories. The owner greeted us with a smile Chelsea was great and she makes a mean gin and tonic, and a margarita.They have a full bar, so go down there and get a specialty drink or beer. Most definitely will be back with friends. Thank you again for an amazing lunch and making me feel special on my birthday!!

So, I absolutely adore this place. The sandwiches are top notch. I got the Hot Not Hot and it was pretty amazing. They have fries and beer on tap. You really can’t do much better.

If you are looking for AWESOME food, definitely go here. They don't have a ton of staff so we had to ask for to-go boxes and pay up at the front for the meal, but the food outshines it. ALL of their bread is made in-house and was phenomenal. Their fries and sandwiches were so good.

This place has an excellent, easy to read menu. The staff is friendly and kept our bevereges topped off. The menu is sandwiches and hamburger's mostly but the sandwiches are a wide variety of ingredients and flavors. i was starving so i picked a cuban... it was loaded with very tasty ingredients. It came with tomato soup. The manager let us taste some pork belly chunks and it was instant love! I plan to make many return trips the valiant, there are many items on the menu i want to try. The name of valiant the sandwich is in the process of being changed but will still be valiant. Downtown salem is a better place for having this sandwich shop.

WOW. Best burger I've EVER had! We ordered takeout and everything was so fresh & delicious! The Farley burger was so savory, crisp around the edges with plenty of gooey cheese! Even the bun was fresh! We were greeted upon arrival, the staff was friendly & prompt! We'll definitely be back. Yum!

The server was friendly and polite, but also knew when to leave me alone, which I appreciate! I had the French Dip which was very tasty, I especially like the horseradish sauce. I also had an order of fries which were doctored up with truffle oil, cheese, etc. and those were amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

This was my first time coming here, though my wife has been a couple of times for work events and orders from them for lunch occasionally. I was not sure what to expect. The cutesy name had me a little worried. It turns out my fears were completely unfounded. We went early on a weeknight so we had the place all to ourselves, to start. The waitress/bartender was friendly and attentive, and made some great recommendations. Our food was excellent. Very well prepared with great flavor and texture combinations. The bread was freshly made and really well executed. I felt like the prices for everything were very reasonable, especially for the quality and service we received. I would definitely come again and try more of the menu!

The best sandwich shop in Salem! The staff is super friendly and the sandwiches are damn good. I honestly don’t think there’s a better place for quality, artisan sandwiches like these in the city. They even have fancy cocktails and lemonades! It gets pretty busy on the weekends so there may be a bit of a wait and there isn’t too much seating available so you might want to take these puppies to go and have a cute picnic nearby!
